Job Description

FitzRoy provide care and support for residents with learning disabilities and autism in their services in Teddington, some of whom are non-verbal communicators. We are seeking exceptional new female Waking Night Support Workers to join our friendly team of five – could this be you?

Cherry Tree House is a 5-bed house situated in Hampton Wick Teddington. At Cherry Tree House we provide care in a supported living setting for 4 female residents. Our staff are reliable, efficient, and hard working, and at present form a supportive team of seven at Cherry Tree House.

Vacancies available:

  • Weeknight rates from £11.43ph rising to £12.93ph with overtime, weekend rates £12.57ph rising to £14.07ph with overtime
  • Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Part Time hours also available
  • Shifts are between 21.45 and 07.45
  • Female only applicants given the needs of our service users
  • For this role it is preferred, though not essential, that applicants hold a full driving licence & are willing to drive our accessible vehicles

The people we support are very engaged with the staff team and keen to be involved in the running of their home at Cherry Tree. A night support worker’s role is varied and flexibility is required. You will be providing care and support individually tailored to the needs and wishes of people with learning disabilities. Through getting to know the people you support, you will identify and work with them to achieve their goals, enabling them to have choice and control over their lives.

Night duties include supporting night time and morning activities including personal care, domestic work and responding promptly to provide support as required throughout the night. There will be additional cleaning duties and paperwork to complete alongside your supporting duties. You will be expected to carry out everyday tasks including support and encouragement with personal care as well as taking part in a range of interests and activities that make up a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
