Job Description

FitzRoy are recruiting Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Hales. The Pastures is a registered care home sited over 3 bungalows which provides nursing care 24 hours a day for 10 residents with learning & physical disabilities.

Vacancies available:


  • Full Time (37.5 hpw)
  • Part Time (various hours available)
  • Bank (zero hours casual contract)

Flexibility is required however typical shifts are as follows:  7am- 2:30pm (early),  2pm- 930pm (late), and will include 2 out of 4 weekends


Full Time (35 hpw)

Day Responsibilities:

  • Social Activities – Accompanying people to health care appointments, day and activity centres, shopping, and social events,
  • Practical Support – Administering medication and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking, shopping and cleaning,
  • Personal Care – Support with getting up and getting ready for the day and settling in for the night, washing, bathing, personal hygiene as required

Night Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with night time & morning activities, including personal care & medication,
  • Carrying our domestic work throughout the night,
  • Responding promptly to offer support as required throughout the night

About you:
