Job Description

Home based covering North Hampshire, Oxfordshire & Herefordshire

Fitzroy are a great organisation with a 50 year history of providing personalised support services in a variety of settings. An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of shaping the future of our vibrant not-for-profit business of Learning Disability Services.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Service Development Manager to join our operations team and act as a ‘supernumerary’ Service Manager for a cluster of services in FitzRoy's South West region. You will be deployed, as required, to assist our Services under pressure for a variety of reasons, for example; where a new service is being implemented, where a service needs extra support to meet quality standards, where a new manager is in post and requires mentoring, where absence of a Service Manager leaves the service vulnerable.

Additionally, you will work closely with the Regional and Quality Managers to implement specific projects in services as well as assisting in the management of quality, compliance and financial requirements of the services.

With an NVQ / Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care, the successful candidate will have worked in a similar role and will have knowledge of regulatory frameworks, relevant sector requirements and statutory legislation relating to Social Care. You will be aware of person centred approaches, and experienced in change management and continuous improvement.

The location of the role is flexible and can be home based or based from a service office. Due to the spread of services, the ideal candidate will be located in the Oxfordshire region. This role will require you to travel and stay away from home on a routine basis.

Benefits of working for FitzRoy include; life assurance, pension with employer contributions, fully paid DBS Disclosure, employee assistance programme and 25 days holiday.
