Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Technician in our growing, transformational charity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line technical IT support to staff
  • Lead technical resource for diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Undertake small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Support manager
  • Provide network and server support
  • Provide proactive support through regular reviews of tickets and targeted comms/system improvements
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Servers/Desktops and Office 365 solutions such as SharePoint Online
  • Administrate IT Systems e.g. Internet, Email, Telecoms, Microsoft Office, antivirus/spam software and web filtering
  • Configure and maintain Mobile device management systems for tablets and mobile devices
  • Implement standardised equipment builds including a quality checking process

Are you a 2nd Line Service Support Analyst - Service Desk Analyst – 2nd Line Desktop Support – 2nd Line IT Technician who has the following experience:

  • Experience of being an escalation point for IT support technicians
  • Experience of supporting a range of hardware and operating systems
  • Experience of supporting client/server based applications (e.g. Sage)
  • Minimum 2 years of IT support in a relevant environment
  • Confident user of Microsoft desktop applications
  • Ideally you will have working knowledge of network systems, their installation and maintenance
