Day Centre Support Worker – Newark
ApplyFitzRoy Supported Living service provides care and support for adult residents in our Newark day centre, providing support individually tailored to the needs and wishes of people with learning disabilities. Some of the people we support have challenging behaviours so experience with challenging behaviour would be beneficial
We are looking to recruit reliable, motivated and positive support staff in our Nottingham day centre. You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works across two day centre services supporting five people with learning disabilities
You will be supporting a male on a 1:1 Support basis.
Vacancies available:
- Salary: £10.02- £11.02 per hour
- Shift pattern 9.00am to 4.00pm
- Currently offering +£2.50 for overtime shifts*.

The people we support enjoy a variety of activities such as going out for meals, going into the community to do their shopping, swimming, bowling, long walks, trips to coffee shops, attending day centre and going to the pub.
You will work together with the day centre and people we support to identify and achieve their goals, enabling them to have choice and control over their lives. You will also be expected to carry out everyday tasks including personal care, taking part in a range of interests and activities that make up a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
