Due to continued growth and expansion, FitzRoy are now looking to recruit Learning Disability Bank Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk.

Vacancies available:

Night and Day Bank Support Workers ( zero hours )

  • Shifts 21.15 to 0715 - although there may be the option to carry out  Day shifts occaisonally

Ideally candidates will available to carry out both Day and Night shifts but Nights only will be considered.

Night Duties will include:

  • Supporting with night time & morning activities, including personal care & medication
  • Carrying our domestic work throughout the night
  • Responding promptly to offer support as required throughout the night

Day Duties will include:

  • Social Activities – Accompanying people to health care appointments, day and activity centres, shopping, and social events
  • Practical Support – Administering medication and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking, shopping and cleaning
  • Personal Care – Support with getting up and getting ready for the day and settling in for the night, washing, bathing, personal hygiene as required

  • Reliable and dependable
  • Flexible availability, to include weekends 
  • A sensitive and responsive communicator
  • Respectful towards others
  • Empathetic, understanding and caring attitude
  • Passion for helping others
  • Drivers Licence and vehicle (Not essential but desirable)
