Activities Co Ordinator – Newhaven
Newhaven, East Sussex
£10.39 - £13.92 per hour
Webb House is our registered care home in Newhaven. We provide care and support for residents with learning disabilities. Many of them also have significant health issues and physical disabilities. We are looking for someone to join our friendly and established team to transform the lives of our residents by planning and partaking in meaningful activities, inhouse and out and about in the community. The people we support are very active and each have hobbies and interests, which you will partake in and organise, from karaoke competitions to concerts and local pub trips. We also love a party! So if you are caring, considerate with a great sense of humour, as well as being a team player and not afraid of hard work in what can often be a physically and mentally demanding role then we would love to hear from you. A full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of this role.
If you are caring, compassionate, creative and looking for a rewarding career, then we would love you to join our team. To be successful at Webb House, you will need to be passionate about our residents, a real team player and not afraid of hard work in what can often be a physically and mentally demanding role.
Our shifts are busy, so it is essential that you are a team player as our residents are very active and each have their own hobbies in the community and indoors. We also love a party – so a sense of fun and good humour is essential!
