Registered care

Each of our homes is unique – like the individuals who live there – but there are a few common elements: comfortable accommodation, 24-hour support and the opportunity to do things you enjoy.

Comfortable accommodation

Enjoy your own room, and share facilities with others who live in the same home. Most homes have space to spread out and get involved with group activities or even space to let you do your own thing.  Many have outdoor spaces that have been sympathetically designed (often by the people we support) so you can get out and get some fresh air, sunshine, and even indulge in some horticultural activities.

Support is on hand

Staff are available all day, every day, to support you as you need it. The support is based on your needs, and the choices you want to make about your life.  The staff team can help you develop your independence, so you can have more freedom and control over daily life.

Help to make choices

Staff will help you do the things you enjoy, get out and about, and make the most of your life and choices. They’ll help you access the community and support you to do as much as you want. Some homes have a regular programme of activities, or are close to other FitzRoy locations such as day and community services, which offer programmes you can get involved with. All have their own fully accessible transport.

How it works

If you’re interested in being supported by FitzRoy in one of our homes, the process is quite simple:

  • We’ll talk to you and your support team about your needs and how we could meet them.
  • We’ll invite you to visit us to see what we offer for yourself, and meet the other people you could be living with.
  • We’ll then talk again about how you feel, whether you would like to live in the home you visited, and start to make plans with you if you would like to.

Specialist nursing facilities

We have two locations which provide specialist nursing facilities alongside their registered care provision. These locations are able to offer more specialist support:
