The Pastures

Overview

The Pastures is a residential care home with nursing and consists of three modern bungalows for 13 people with high support needs. Support workers are on duty with additional nursing cover for 24 hours a day, making sure that your needs are fully met.

Facilities available

We have three bungalows, two with four bedrooms and one with five bedrooms, all offering high quality accommodation with fully accessible rooms and assisted bathrooms. Lounge and dining room areas have modern furnishings, and we will support you to choose colours and styles so your bedroom can be decorated as you wish. The gardens and outdoor areas are large, with raised beds and mature shrubs. An adapted minibus is on site to allow easy access to local amenities and shops.

Our Commitment

Our friendly and dedicated staff team will provide you with personally tailored support, developing a person-centred plan, and ensuring your needs are fully met. We will support you to access activities and social events in the community, as well as at home. Regular visits to family and friends are organised, and there are no set visiting times. Increased involvement with the local community is planned, including opportunities for volunteering and the organisation of specific fundraising events.

Location

The Pastures is situated in a beautiful rural setting in the village of Hales, Norfolk, close to picturesque villages and the Norfolk Broads.

Anne Louise and Tara’s story

Sisters Anne Louise and Tara now live at The Pastures and have been supported by FitzRoy for over 30 years. Their parents are extremely happy with the move to their new home, and have offered to talk to prospective new families about the high quality support given to their daughters.
