Rewards and benefits

FitzRoy doesn’t under-estimate the amazing work our staff do, and we want you to succeed in your career. We are proud to be recognised as Investors in People and the additional benefits we offer include:

Pension
If you join our Group Personal Pension Plan, we will contribute to your pension. You can also have a 1:1 consultation with an Independent Financial Adviser about your pension planning.

Valuing staff
To recognise your hard work, we increase annual leave levels over time. If you stay with us, you will also be eligible for our excellent loyalty awards. Along with this, we celebrate the contributions our staff make through our staff recognition scheme.

Staff forums
Our regional and national staff forums meet regularly and we encourage communication at all levels within the organisation. In recent years, these forums have significantly improved terms and conditions for staff.

Childcare vouchers
In conjunction with Busy Bees, we are part of a scheme that provides you with a more flexible way to meet the costs of your childcare. This means that you give up part of your salary in exchange for childcare vouchers. Within specified limits, the vouchers are not taxed and you don’t have to pay national insurance on them.

Life assurance
We know that staff worry about how they will provide for their loved ones and dependants if the worst happens. To make sure that staff know they will still be able to support their families in the sad event of their death, we provide life assurance at no cost to staff. If you join the pension scheme, this means that you can nominate who should receive a sum four times your basic salary. If you don’t join the pension scheme, you can nominate who should receive a sum twice your basic salary.

Employee assistance programme
You can access our free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme which offers advice, information and guidance on a range of subjects like finances, mortgages, dependent care and legal advice. This can be done by either telephone or face to face counselling. There is a free telephone service, open 24 hours a day and available to all employees. A dedicated website is also available.

Mobile telephones
In conjunction with one of the biggest mobile telephone companies, we are able to offer our employees and up to five family members reduced rates on some mobile phone tariffs, plans and accessories.

Company cars
If your role requires regular business travel, you will be offered a lease car to carry out your responsibilities. If you are entitled to a company car, the options available to you will be discussed with you through an offer of employment.

Learning and development
Once you’ve joined our team, you’ll not only receive our fantastic benefits package, you’ll also have access to personal and professional development opportunities. We are committed to providing training at all levels to ensure that the people we support continue to receive the highest quality care and support. A variety of training, including an induction process, will help you understand the organisation and our values and help you to settle into the organisation and your role as quickly as possible.

We also sponsor a variety of nationally accredited diplomas and other qualifications. We encourage our staff to apply for jobs internally, and support managers to develop their teams.

If you feel you have what it takes to become a part of our team and make a real difference to people’s lives, please view our current job opportunities.
